December 17th 2018 marks another year for us at A Glass Half. 7 years, to be exact. So as 2018 draws to a close, we thought we’d take a look back at the year and see just what happened and share some of our favourite projects; some of which we’ve never actually published.
– A shift in direction –
2018 was the biggest shift in the 7 years A Glass Half has been here. The release of our new website (the one you’re on right now) welcomed a bolder, fresher brand that reflected who we are as individuals and what we’ve always dreamt of A Glass Half becoming. It’s the culmination of almost 12 months of work behind the scenes, and is to this date our crowning achievement with the A Glass Half brand.
You can read about the process behind the build, the “what’s” and “why’s” here. Do check it out.
– 2018 –
This year we’ve worked on, and continue to work on, countless projects that excite us every single day. From Somerset to California, we’ve been lucky enough to work with a whole host of clients that share our passion for design, from world champion shoe repairers Kings of Somerset just down the road in Ilminster, to No More Heroes and Hole 19 over 5,000 miles away in Los Angeles.
It would be a very long Year in Review for us to post every single project (since August we’ve produced over 30 event posters for The Cheese & Grain alone), so instead we’re going to highlight some of our favourite projects from the year.
– Onto 2019 –
2019 is set to be even bigger and better for us. We are so excited by the projects we’ve already confirmed for the year ahead, including the opening of Hole 19, the release of the Cheese & Grain’s new website, and our 6thsuccessive year of working with The Godney Gathering on their brand & marketing.
Our love, A Glass Half
