Over the past 7 years, we’ve adapted to new challenges, creating user-first experiences that make an impact in people’s lives, even today. It’s that continued ability to make a difference that sparks our creativity. That’s why we’ve spent the best part of 2018 not just asking how we could make our website better, but how we could make it different.
We’re excited to announce the launch of new website. It’s the culmination of everything we’ve learnt in the past 7 years, showing you exactly who we are, what we do and who we do it for, all in a simple to navigate, visually appealing design.
It would have been simple for us to stick to the same structure of our old website and just tweak elements, but we felt that we needed to better communicate our work and who we are, in a cleaner, easier way that shows off just what we can do.
Our new site delivers content immediately and effectively to you, allowing you to grasp what A Glass Half is with ease. Each Case Study is written and displayed to show you the work we’ve done, but also help you understand how we approach each project.
You also won’t find masses of text detailing each service we do, and you won’t find an ‘automated’ sales pitch. Instead, each page has its own contact form; we want to get in touch with you, hear your story and your goals, direct from the horse’s mouth.
One of the major changes with our new website is our voice.
Music plays a massive part in the life of A Glass Half. We were born out of careers in the Music Industry, and our very first clients were bands and venues. We never forgot that, and this website pays homage to our past. Each contact form has a song lyric that we either liked growing up, or feel it’s just quirky and relevant enough to take its place on our website.
We’re a laid back bunch. We love what we do, and do it for a reason. We’re not clinical ‘yes men’. We partner with brands and businesses to get the best result, constantly asking questions and challenging the ‘norm’, and we feel our new voice is more human. More ‘us’.
Behind The Build posts such as this will give you a deeper look into the processes we use in projects, and how we form our ideas, eventually developing them into finished pieces. We’ll also be including imagery from these processes – something we usually resign to the archives; gathering dust, never be seen again.
Our website, though, is far from finished. We’ll be tweaking and adding new functionality as the dust settles. The hope is that the updates will feel natural and almost subconscious; an ever-evolving experience.
